Thank you to all those parents who were able to be with us last night for our parents evening. I'm sure those who went to Lady Gaga instead, wished they had been here!

After each parent shared what they found inspiring about their daughters, we talked about the values and beliefs people hold for educating their daughters and what their aspirations are for them.
Here are some of the contributions;

I believe;
    that the best gifts we can give our children are love, support and encouragement
    that there should be no boundaries when it comes to learning
    in hard work and values
    that all children have an inner joy that we must nurture
I value;
    creativity
    curiosity
    love of life
    inter-dependencies and interconnectedness
    a caring atmosphere and sense of community
    dance, movement, performance
    independent thinking
My aspirations for my daughter are
    to be happy
    to have resilience and tenacity
    to find something to excel at
    to be the best she can be
    to be a leader in creating positive change for the environment and the wider community
    to be a global citizen

We look forward to adding all the comments to the book we are compiling for the new girls and their parents as they begin in the Foundation Class in the future.
