Exploring Mt St John

It was a beautiful sunny morning and the girls had
lots of fun exploring the mountain.

We visited Turbo the cats house.

The girls noticed green slime in the water.

"It must be the witches snot" - Jacqui suggested

All the girls agreed that the witch that lives in a tree
must be very sick with a cold!

We climbed trees.

Tess, Ruby and Olivia relaxed and enjoyed sunbathing.

What a wonderful time we had up the mountain today.
It was great to see the girls playing imaginary games
and building strong friendships with one another.

The Life Education Trust

Today we visited The Life Education Trust.

We learnt all about our bodies and how good food and exercise gives us energy.

We learnt about the importance of brushing our teeth twice a day.
We even sang this song which was to the tune of 'Row, Row, Row your Boat'.

We learnt about the organs inside the body. 

 The girls enjoyed meeting Harold the giraffe and hearing him sing a song about keeping healthy!

What a wonderful time we had inside The Life Education Truck.

Fabulous Bears.

The girls did exceptionally well at drawing their bears and some of the girls were keen

to use the opportunity for writing.

The Next Page of our Book

Today we worked on the next page of our book of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We talked about the size of the chairs and what the opposite of big, soft, small, hard etc...was, before working together on the white board to draw chairs for the bears.

We were most impressed with the chairs the girls drew and here are some of the girls, hard at work.
